Registration now open for the 118th FAI General Conference

The registration for the 118th FAI General Conference, scheduled to be held from 19 to 21 November 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is now open.

The FAI General Conference is the annual gathering of FAI Member Delegates from around the world. During the conference, various topics related to air sports are discussed, decisions are made, and future plans are formulated.

The Conference also provides a platform for Members to exchange ideas, share experiences, and contribute to the development of air sports on a global scale.

Asian-Oceanic PG Championships 2024 have launched in Mungyeong, Korea

The 2nd FAI Asian-Oceanic Paragliding Championships have launched in Mungyeong South Korea. The event is organized by Korea Paragliding Association KPGA with the support of the Korean NAC and the Olympic Committee. It will be held from June 6 to June 16, 2024. 114 pilots from 9 nations are going to compete in the event. The nations that have sent the largest amount of pilots are Australia, China, Japan, Korea, and Kazakhstan. The other countries represented in the event are India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

Paragliding Euro 2024 launched in Pegalajar

17th FAI European Paragliding Championships rocket launched in Pegalajar in the region of Jaen in Spain. The event is organized by CTNP, Pegalajar paragliding club, and supported by the NAC of Spain. 137 pilots from 31 nations have come to face the challenge. 12 women are competing for the title of the female European champion. This competition will award Overall, Women and Nations champions. The junior title will not be awarded due to an insufficient number of juniors.
