Five minutes with nine times FAI F3A World Champion Christophe Paysant-Le Roux

When Frenchman Christophe Paysant-Le Roux won the FAI F3A World Championship for Aerobatic Model Aircraft in Italy earlier this year, he became FAI World Champion for the ninth time.

It’s an incredible achievement for this 50-year-old pilot, who has been involved with aeromodelling for pretty much his whole life. But is it still as special the ninth time round? We caught up with Paysant-Le Roux, who lives in Cherbourg in Normandy, to find out.

Paragliding World Cup Asian Tour in Gochang, South Korea October 4 -11, 2019

This year sees the launch of the new Asian Tour. Each event has the same status as a Pre World Cup, as the winner will automatically qualify for the Super Final. Apart from giving pilots the opportunity to discover fantastic untried locations, the idea is to train new organisers and bring the Paragliding World Cup concept to Asia. 

4 rounds - 5 x 000! PGA Worlds booming in Serbia.

Today is Day 5 of the 10th FAI Worlds Paragliding Accuracy Championship in Vršac, Serbia. The day started in the middle of Round 4.

The weather condition has been tricky during the past several days. On September 10th which was the competition Day 1, a practice round for all competitors had been done before Round 1. Then it was back wind direction for Day 2, and over-limit wind strength for Day 3 in the afternoon.
